So today I headed to Lokrum Island, nature reserve, its a short boat ride from the port in Old Town. This place is just stunning! With walks through pine forests, clear blue sea and beautiful views all around, I can see why this is a popular place among locals and tourists. The whole Island is made of layers of Limestone and Dolomite but can only be seen when you venture to the shore.
Theres so much to see and do on Lokrum, you've got the Church of Annunciation, Botanical gardens, the Olive grove, you can take a dip in the famous "Dead Sea" or if your legs can take it, walk up the "Path of Paradise" to Fort Royal where you can get a breathtaking 360° view.
